The Airport offers a number of services and facilities for your travelling convenience. For more information please stop by our Guest Services Desk where our specialists will be ready to assist you and answer any questions you may have.

Mobile Devices

CHS offers the following for your mobile devices:
  • Free WiFi — Log on with CHSFREEWIFI
  • 2,000 electrical outlets and USB ports for mobile device charging

Animal Relief Areas

Charleston International Airport has three designated Service Animal Relief Areas (SARA) for service animals that accompany passengers. There are two areas located outside, one at each end of the terminal building. There is one designated area, post security, located on the A Concourse near Gate A2.

Card to Card Kiosks

Two ReadySTATION cash-to-card conversion kiosks are located in ticketing across from Frontier Airlines and across from American Airlines. Service fee is $5 per transaction for conversions up to $1,000. These instantly loaded ReadyCard brand VISA cards can be used anywhere VISA is accepted.

Curbside Check-In

Charleston’s in-house Curbside Check-In Service “CHS Check n’ Go” is now open. The following airlines allow curbside check-in.

Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, Spirit, and United.

Luggage Carts

Self-service luggage carts are available in Baggage Claim near Carousel 1 and on the first-floor, ground level of the parking deck (adjacent to the Surface Lot). Cost is $4 per cart. Return the cart to receive 25-cent refund.

Cash ($1 bills and quarters only) as well as a Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted.

Post Office

A FedEx drop off box is located adjacent to the Guest Services Desk. In addition, a USPS mail slot is available for passengers that would like to drop off stamped postcards and letters for mailing.

Nursing Mothers

Two nursing suites are located in the airport. One pre-security between carousels 2 and 3 in Baggage Claim and one post-security on Concourse B.

Lost And FOund/Paging

Lost and Found
The Charleston County Aviation Authority (CCAA) maintains a Lost and Found office for items found in the Charleston International Airport (CHS) terminal and CHS parking facilities. We have teamed up with Boomerang, a lost and found software, to ensure passengers promptly retrieve lost items. Travelers can access the service through the link below or QR codes located throughout the airport. If CHS has your item, you will receive an email containing instructions for the item’s return shipping.

The Club CHS

The Club CHS is a new premium shared-use lounge in the main concourse. The 4,041 square-foot lounge can seat up to 83 customers, who can now comfortably wait for their flight while enjoying a quiet place to relax, get work done, sit down for a meal and beverage or freshen up.
